2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 7: Enyimba International FC targets maximum points against Niger Tornadoes

With an eye on snatching the top position from Remo Stars and Rivers United FC, Enyimba International FC coach Yemi Olanrewaju says he is more focused on securing maximum points against Niger Tornadoes in the midweek 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 7 fixtures.


Olanrewaju stated that a win would further boost the team's profile ahead of this crucial match.


The People's Elephant is set to face a challenging opponent, Niger Tornadoes, who have amassed more points in their away matches than at home.


The midweek clash will be held at Enyimba International Stadium.


Olanrewaju added that his team aims to continue their strong start to the campaign.


He also mentioned that his side is prepared to withstand their opponents, noting that the goal is to put pressure on Remo Stars and Rivers United.


“We know it’s going to be a tough game. They haven’t won any game at home, and they seem to perform better away than at home.


"We know their game plan and tactics. We will be ready for them. Over the past three games, we have kept clean sheets, and we want to continue that trend.


"We want to get as many points as possible to climb the table and put pressure on Remo Stars and Rivers United. We’re not backing down; we’ll be ready for them."
