2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 6: Bayelsa United FC pips Plateau United FC

Bayelsa United FC Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, is a happy man after seeing his side grind out a 1-0 win over the more resolute defending of Plateau United FC.


The Prosperity Boys, needing the maximum points, faced a stern blockade from the defensive line mounted by the Peace Boys' defense marshals.


Yahaya Ibrahim's second goal of the season was enough for the Prosperity Boys to earn their first win of the season against the Peace Boys.


To demonstrate the intent of Bayelsa United, Ibrahim scored in the 4th minute of play.


After piling on more pressure, Bayelsa United had another chance for a second goal in the 6th minute, but the effort was saved by Plateau United's goalkeeper for a corner kick.


The Promise Keepers also had another opportunity, but Goforth's header was saved by the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of play.


After all the efforts from both sides to get a goal, the match ended 1-0 in favor of Bayelsa United FC.
