Ahmed Sani Sarduana, Technical Adviser of ABS FC, has expressed disappointment over the team's away match against Osun United FC on Match Day 6 at the Lanreleke Sports Stadium in Osun State.
Coach Sarduana questioned the center referee's decision to award a penalty kick against his team, stating that it was unnecessary and questionable.
"Although I'm not a referee, I think the referee was too harsh in his decision," he said.
Despite the setback, the coach praised his team's performance in the first half of the game, which ended goalless.
"My boys put up a good fight, but unfortunately, the penalty advantage went to the home team, which was not necessary."
The coach has urged his team to focus on strategizing for their next game and to seek positive results.
"We have a lot of work ahead of us, but our target for the Apex League remains intact.
"I believe we will keep our promise of promotion.
"Winning away matches is possible, and we will continue to play with positivity, dedication, and hard work."
