2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 33: Nasarawa United FC targets Plateau United FC's scalp

The Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United FC, Salisu Yusuf, remains optimistic about securing maximum points against the visiting Plateau United FC in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 33.


The Match Day 33 fixture between the Solid Miners and the Peace Boys, a North Central derby, will be played at the Lafia Township Stadium.


Salisu, who took over from former coach Kabiru Dogo, has been in splendid form, turning around the club’s fortunes from a relegation-threatened side to a relatively safe position on the 2024/2025 NPFL table.


Ahead of the Peace Boys' visit, Salisu Yusuf stated that he would coordinate the team effectively to ensure all three points are secured.


"We will work on our team cohesion so that the players understand each other better," he said.

In their last five meetings, Plateau United FC have won four, while Nasarawa United FC have recorded just one win.
