2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 32: Draw against Kwara United unfortunate, says Mangut

Plateau United FC Technical Adviser, Mangut Mbwas, has attributed his team’s goalless draw against Kwara United to hard luck.


Mbwas also emphasized that his players failed to convert their chances during the game.


However, he refused to make further excuses for the outcome of the match.


Kwara United FC forced Plateau United to a 0-0 draw on Sunday at the Jos Township Stadium.


“How can we be missing clear chances? Had we converted those chances, the game would have gone in our favor,” Mbwas stated in a post-match interview.


“There is nothing we can do about the result. We are not the only ones—other teams are also fighting relegation. There shouldn’t be any form of relaxation on the part of the players, as we still have a few more matches to play in the league.”
