Sunshine Stars' Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye, expressed his dissatisfaction with the result of Match Day 3 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) against Abia Warriors.
Sunshine Stars played out a goalless draw against Abia Warriors at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
He mentioned that his plan was to win the match and move up the NPFL standings.
In his post-match interview, Boboye affirmed that Sunshine Stars will continue to push forward, adding that they will go out and fight like wounded lions to reclaim the points lost at home.
The former international stated: "We have put the outcome of the match behind us; it's done and dusted. Our focus is now on the next game against Akwa United."
"The game was very tough; we played against a good team, but it's still unclear how two goals were disallowed, and we were denied a penalty."
The two-time NPFL winner substituted Sodiq Ibrahim and Elmer Arunta for Seidu Salisu and Ismail Ayodele in search of the elusive goals.
Later, Boboye brought on Opeoluwa Olufemi and Promise Awosanmi for Lucky Vandy and Chinedu Nwosu to increase pressure on the visitors, while Abdulazeez Ajagbe came in for Seth Mayi.
The result placed Sunshine Stars fourth on the log, and they will next travel to Uyo to face Akwa United.
