2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 28: Fired up Abia Warriors to unleash Megwo prowess on Plateau United FC

Abia Warriors FC is ready to unleash Super Eagles Team B forward, Sunday Megwo, against Plateau United FC in the highly anticipated Super Sunday clash of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 28.


The match will take place at the Jos Township Stadium.


Megwo revealed that the team is fully prepared to deliver a strong performance in their encounter against Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium, Jos.


The Umuahia-born goal poacher, who is enjoying one of his standout seasons with eight goals and three assists, expressed disappointment over their last result—a 1-1 home draw against Nasarawa United in Umuahia last Sunday.


"We're in Jos to fight for maximum points.


We know it won’t be an easy game, especially after failing to get the desired result in our last home match against Nasarawa United.


We need to get it right with a good performance against Plateau United on Sunday (tomorrow).


We are all ready and prepared to give our best for the team, fully aware of what we are fighting to achieve by the end of the season."


The Super Eagles Team B forward further admitted that the team is not satisfied with its current position on the league table.


"Yes, because when you check the league standings, you will see that we are not yet in a comfortable position for a team aiming for a continental ticket.


So, we need to keep working hard and improving as a team. So far, it has been a good campaign, and we will give our all to ensure we secure a continental spot by the end of the season."


Megwo will be looking to deliver another brilliant performance for Imama Amapakabo's side when they face Plateau United on Sunday.
