Kwara United Football Club has expressed deep gratitude to key stakeholders for their unwavering support as the team continues its push for success in the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The club recently ended Shooting Stars' (3SC) eight-game unbeaten streak with an emphatic 2-0 victory in Ilorin on Wednesday.
Speaking through the club's General Manager, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, Chairman Kumbi Titiloye acknowledged the immense backing from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Sports Commission—led by Mallam Bola Magaji—and other stakeholders who have contributed to the club’s progress.
“We are grateful for the support received from Taiwo Awoniyi, Bashorun Kayode Bankole, Alhaji Afase, Cyteck Engr. Olaide, and many others who have stood by us.
“We believe more stakeholders will come on board to further strengthen the club, as it remains a team for all.”
Badawiy reaffirmed Kwara United's ambition of securing a top-four finish this season and urged stakeholders to maintain and even increase their support to help achieve this goal.
The Harmony Boys will next face Bayelsa United on Matchday 24 of the NPFL on Saturday at the George Inih Stadium in Ilorin.
