2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 22: Niger Tornadoes' gaffer, Majin, sad over defeat to Nasarawa United

After seeing his side go down 2-0 to their tough neighbors, Niger Tornadoes' coach, Mohammed Majin, expressed frustration over his team's inability to convert their chances in the ill-fated match.


The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 22 was crucial for the home side, the Solid Miners, who are rooted at the bottom of the league in 20th position.


However, the opposing coach of Ikon Allah Boys, Majin, felt that his players fell short of expectations during the match, which was almost dominated by the hosts.


"I'm really surprised that my boys weren't at their best today. 


"Perhaps they underestimated Nasarawa United," Majin said in an interview after the match.


"The result shows that Nasarawa United needed the points more than we did. They came out strong from the first whistle, putting us under immense pressure."


"We conceded an early goal, and before we knew it, it became increasingly difficult to recover as the game progressed," he concluded.
