After recording their third consecutive win in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a 1-0 victory over Bayelsa United in Umuahia at the weekend, Abia Warriors have shifted their focus to the next encounter against league leaders Remo Stars in Ikenne on Wednesday.
Buoyed by the results of their last three games, Abia Warriors' captain, Augustine Njoku, while speaking with the club's media, expressed optimism about a positive result in Ikenne.
"As they say, victory begets victory. We are now unbeaten in three games, with three straight wins. We are going to Ikenne this Wednesday to fight because that game will also be a battle, and we are going there to fight for the maximum three points. God is on our side; we can do it."
"I believe in my team, and I believe that everything is possible. We have worked so hard, and I believe we can equally secure the maximum three points."
Meanwhile, Umu Chineke has arrived in Ikenne, Ogun State, the venue of the epic encounter.
