2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 2: We will make more adjustments to Katsina United FC's team

Katsina United FC Coach Bishir Sadauki, reacting to his first win over the visiting Bendel Insurance, claimed that he would make more changes to his side as the season progresses.


Sadauki, after the match, expressed happiness with his players' performance as well as the support from the club's fans.


The coach stated that as the season progresses, he would make any necessary adjustments to improve the team's performance.

 


Recall that the Changi Boys defeated Bendel Insurance 2-1 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, on the second matchday of the ongoing NPFL 2024/2025 season.


Bendel Insurance took an early lead in the first half after Lukman Bello missed a one-on-one opportunity with the Insurance goalkeeper.


A few minutes later, Bello equalized for Katsina United with a header from a long throw by Nasiru Sani, making the score 1-1.


The game continued with both teams making attempts to score the second goal, but it proved tough, and the first half ended 1-1.


In the second half, Insurance deployed defensive tactics, while Katsina United made several attempts to break the deadlock.


Katsina United continued to apply pressure in the opponent's half throughout the second half, but they found it difficult as the Insurance players defended effectively.


After six minutes of extra time, Katsina United scored the winning goal through Azeez Falolu, who struck a long-range shot one minute before the final whistle.


Katsina United's next encounter is against Heartland FC of Owerri in the upcoming weekend.
