The former Super Eagles star admitted that conceding first really affected the team, but the substitutions he made swung the game in their favor.
"It's been a long time since we scored two goals after going a goal down in the first half. It was a good spirit from the players.
"I told them it was going to be a tough game. Last season, we failed to beat Kwara United here, so I let them know how difficult the game would be. Unfortunately, we conceded, but we fought back.
"I had to make two quick changes to the team. Sometimes, it's not easy coming off the bench, but I instilled a positive mindset in them, and we controlled the game.
"It was not a bad result for us, and having the three points is fair," he said.
