2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 16: NPFL postpones Kwara United vs Enyimba International FC clash

The management of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) announced on Wednesday the postponement of the 2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 16 fixture between Kwara United and Enyimba International.


The game was postponed due to Enyimba International’s involvement in the 2024/2025 CAF Confederation Cup group match.

The two-time CAF Champions League winners will host Zamalek of Egypt at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Sunday, the same day the league match was originally scheduled to take place.


"The anticipated NPFL 2024/2025 Match Day 16 clash between Kwara United FC and Enyimba International FC, initially scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8, in Ilorin, has been postponed until further notice," Kwara United wrote on X.


"This decision follows Enyimba International FC's progression to the second group stage of the CAF interclub competition. They are set to face off against Zamalek Sports Club of Egypt on the same day, Dec. 8, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo."
