Katsina United's management praised the participation of all football stakeholders, particularly the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youths and Sports, in the North West local derby match between Kano Pillars and Katsina United in Kano.
The Club Chairman, Alhaji Kabir Dan'lami Rimi (KADMASH), made the remark during the clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofar Mata, Kano, which Kano Pillars won by a single goal.

According to Chairman Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, the presence of football stakeholders in the state during the derby match demonstrates their devotion and passion for the state's favorite team.
Kabir Dan'lami Rimi thanked the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youths and Sports, Alhaji Rabiu Muhammad Rabiu, who represented the Sports Commissioner, SSA on Sports Abubakar Adidas, as well as representatives from club owners, football stakeholders, supporters' clubs, well-wishers, and sports enthusiasts for attending the historic match.
He also praised the administration of Kano Pillars and the Kano State Football Association for ensuring a smooth encounter.
He further thanked the club's players, technical crew, and management for their efforts during the match, despite losing by a single goal, and asked for more as the club hosts Rangers International in Match Day 17 of the ongoing season at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.
