The match is one that the club's fans and followers believe is a must-win for the Warriors if they are to improve their position on the league log.

Njoku, therefore, urged the fans for massive support in Sunday's game.

"My message to Abia Warriors fans is, first of all, to plead with them because of the level of inconsistency in the team now.

"Talking about getting results, I'm pleading with the fans to still give us a little time because the team, as I used to say, is a work-in-progress. I believe, going forward, in the four games remaining in the first round, they are going to see a new Abia Warriors.

"I urge them to still come out en masse to support and cheer us to victory on Sunday," he said.

According to the former Nigeria U-20 right back, the chances of the Warriors collecting all three points at stake on Sunday are high, given the level of hard work they have put in.
