Both teams battled intensely for most of the first half, but the Oluyole Warriors were reduced to 10 men after right-back Muritala Taiye was sent off for receiving a second yellow card.
The home side took the lead in the final minute of the half, courtesy of a controversial penalty awarded by referee Olaniyi Oladapo. Sikiru Alimi calmly converted the spot kick, giving his team a 1-0 advantage heading into the break.
Despite being a man down, the Oluyole Warriors dominated possession in the second half and had opportunities to equalize, but poor finishing let them down.
Remo Stars sealed the victory against the run of play in the 67th minute when Olamilekan Adedayo scored from close range after 3SC failed to deal with a cross from the left flank.
The Oluyole Warriors will host Abia Warriors on Sunday in a Matchday 15 encounter, scheduled to kick off at 5:30 PM.
