After a disappointing 1-0 loss to Rivers United in Port Harcourt on Sunday, Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia will aim to redeem their image when they face visiting Katsina United in an NPFL midweek fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
The defeat extended the Warriors' winless streak to four consecutive games. Abia Warriors' captain, Augustine Njoku, acknowledged this difficult period for *Umu Chineke* but expressed strong confidence that the Pride of Abia will bounce back against Katsina United.

"Well, it's a game of football, and it hasn't been great for us lately due to the results. I believe we will get it right against Katsina United," he said.
"I would call it a test game for us, and I am confident we will secure the maximum three points here at the Umuahia Township Stadium," Njoku stated.
The former Nigeria Under-20 right-back added, "We are ready, we are always ready.
"In football, there are times of struggle and times of triumph. I believe we are experiencing a tough phase right now. However, moving forward, starting with the Katsina United match, I believe the Warriors are ready."
The last time Katsina United faced Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium, the Warriors secured a 2-1 victory.
Odinaka Anaeto of Abia Warriors is sidelined with a minor injury, while Daniel Ekpo remains unavailable due to a mild illness.
On a positive note, Abia Warriors' center-back, Prince Okorie, is expected to return to action.
