Ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 12 game against Nasarawa United, Akwa United has received a major boost as four of its injured players have returned to full fitness and training.
The Promise Keepers have been without the quartet of Paul Acquah, Reuben Bala, Seyi Oguntayo, and Hakeem Otuyiga.

All of the players had been sidelined due to various injuries, but an update from the team camp indicated that they are now back with the team.
They all trained with the rest of the squad on Thursday and were certified fit for selection.
The game against the Solid Miners is scheduled for Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
However, it will be another litmus test for the under-fire Nasarawa United FC, who have been given a standing order to win three consecutive matches by the team's management.
A loss against the Promise Keepers in Uyo will put the team under even more intense pressure.
The Solid Miners are currently placed 17th in the NPFL standings with three wins, three draws, and five losses. They are just one point above the relegation zone.
