2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 11: Remo Stars force Enyimba International FC to barren draw

After a tense encounter in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 11, league leaders Remo Stars battled the nine-time league champions, Enyimba International FC, to a goalless draw on Sunday.

The Sky Blue Stars, enjoying possession in the 23rd minute, had a nice buildup when Tochukwu Raymond found Sikiru Alimi, who dribbled and took a shot at goal. However, the goalkeeper blocked his attempt, and Junior Nduka immediately pounced on the loose ball, but his shot went inches wide.


The Daniel Ogunmodede-coached team had another chance in the 33rd minute when Faisal Sani stole the ball from his marker, found ThankGod Ikeagwu, who then passed it to Tochukwu Raymond. Raymond took a shot, but it went inches wide.


Enyimba International FC gained more possession in the second half, especially in the 75th minute, but Remo Stars' goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole, made another crucial save to deny the People's Elephant.


The game ended in a goalless stalemate.
