The Flying Antelopes relied on their defensive prowess to curb the Peace Boys' relentless attack, with Vincent Temitope being a constant threat to the visitors.
Plateau United FC almost got the first goal in the 8th minute when Sadiq’s free kick went straight to Rangers International FC's goalkeeper, Lucky, but no one could pick up the rebound.
It was yet another opportunity for Temitope in the 25th minute, as he almost scored from Itodo’s throw-in, but he held the ball too long, allowing Lucky to calmly collect it.
Rangers International FC's Amah was, however, sent off in the 44th minute for being the last man and making a tough clearance to keep the ball out.
