2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 11: Abia Warriors in revival mode against Lobi Stars

Abia Warriors midfield maestro and Super Eagles B Team invitee, Innocent Godwin, has assured the club's fans of optimum performance against Lobi Stars of Makurdi as both sides face off in a Matchday 11 fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League.


Abia Warriors lost at home to Oriental brothers, Heartland Football Club of Owerri, in their last league fixture—a result that was as shocking as the fall of the Berlin Wall for league followers, club fans, and the Benue-born midfielder.

Reflecting on the previous match, Innocent acknowledged that the Warriors were not at their best but assured fans of an improved performance against the "Yes Father" boys.


"Our last game at home was not good enough; we did all we could, but our best wasn't sufficient. However, we are promising the fans and management our best effort in the game against Lobi Stars," Innocent stated.


"We will give our all to ensure we come out victorious," he added.
