The ongoing 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has claimed its second casualty as Ikorodu City FC Technical Adviser, Bright Ozebagbe, has quit his position after poor results that left his side winless in five league matches.
The club, in a statement, also confirmed the resignation of its head coach, Ozebagbe.
In a statement on the club's X handle, it was said that Ozebagbe resigned from his role after the defeat to Plateau United.
Ozebagbe promoted the Lagos-based side from the Nigeria National League but has failed to pick up maximum points in the Nigerian top flight.
Ozebagbe has followed the trend, as Lobi Stars FC coach Eugene Agagbe also lost his job after NPFL Match Day 5.
