2024/2025 NNL Match Day 8: Warri Wolves hold firm against Beyond Limits

Warri Wolves FC has maintained its grip on the top spot in the Conference A table, following a hard-fought 0-0 draw against defending champions Beyond Limits FC at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.  


The Seasiders' defensive resilience was on full display as they kept Beyond Limits FC's attacking forces at bay, despite the best efforts of top scorers Ekene Ohio, Oroh Ezekiel, Lateef Yusuf, and Igbunu Evwierhurhona.  


With this result, Warri Wolves FC extends its lead at the top of the table with 16 points from 8 matches, having won 4 and drawn 4.  


Beyond Limits FC remains in third place with 12 points.  


As the season intensifies, both teams will seek to build on this result in their upcoming matches, setting the stage for a thrilling continuation of the Conference A campaign.  


Next up for Warri Wolves FC is a home match against Ijele FC in Matchweek 9, scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Ozoro Township Stadium.
