2024/2025 NNL Match Day 4: Basira FC fight Kebbi United FC to stalemate

As the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) Match Day 4 brought surprising results from various locations across the country, Basira FC posted the biggest upset by holding the star-studded Kebbi United FC to a draw.


Basira FC defied all odds to pick up an away point against Kebbi United, with both teams scoring once.


Their strong performance helped them maintain second place in the Conference D table.


Elsewhere, Calabar Rovers played out a 1-1 draw against Kun Kalifat FC.


The draw extended Kun Kalifat FC's unbeaten streak this season, keeping them at the top of Conference B with ten points. A late equalizer from Rovers secured a point for the home side.


In Lagos, Sporting Lagos defeated Gateway United by two unanswered goals.


The Lagos-based team continued their impressive form as they secured another victory to start the year on a high note.
