2024/2025 NNL Match Day 11: Zamfara United FC clinches thrilling 3-1 win over Mighty Jet FC

Zamfara United Football Club secured a crucial 3-1 victory over Mighty Jet FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) match, maintaining their position in the league.


The highly anticipated match remained goalless at halftime, with both teams wasting scoring opportunities. However, the second half proved to be more eventful.


Auwal Auta broke the deadlock with a stunning shot from a Faruk Hussein assist just one minute into the second half. He doubled his tally in the 65th minute, giving Zamfara United a 2-0 lead.


Mighty Jet FC pulled one back in the 73rd minute, but their momentum was short-lived. Ahmad Kasim sealed the win for Zamfara United with a third goal in the 90th minute, securing a 3-1 victory.
