Gombe United players have undergone mandatory medical tests ahead of the start of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
TShuaibu Muhammad, the club’s media officer, made the revelation in Gombe on Saturday.

Muhammad stated that the exercise was in fulfillment of the NNL requirement for player registration for the new season.
According to him, the test is a routine medical check, including electrocardiography and a general body examination to assess the players' fitness.
He mentioned that the test was conducted on Saturday at the Specialist Hospital in Gombe State.
“All the newly recruited and old Savannah Scorpions players underwent the medical check-up,” he said.
Gombe United will begin their new season campaign at home against Sokoto United on December 15.
