2024/2025 Match Day 15: Our two quick goals responsible for Remo Stars' defeat, says Majin

Despite not having good home results in past league matches since returning to the iconic Mohammad Bako Stadium in Minna, Niger Tornadoes were able to grind out a commanding 2-0 win over the dethroned league leaders, Remo Stars FC.  


However, the Technical Adviser of the Ikon Allah Boys, Majin Mohammed, claimed that his side plotted the fall of the Ikenne-based team and explained how they defeated them in the Match Day 15 NPFL clash.

Two quick first-half goals from Joseph Godstime and Papa Daniel ensured Niger Tornadoes picked up maximum points against Remo Stars SC.  


Majin, reacting to the match, commended the resilience of Remo Stars despite the 2-0 loss.  


"Remo Stars really showed they are a top side. I think they are the most organized team we have played so far this season, highly experienced compared to our young team."  


"After the defeat to Bayelsa United in midweek, all we needed to do was put our heads together and fight to make sure we got the three points, and that's exactly what happened," he said.
