The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Friday, in the 2024/2025 Women’s Champions League draw, placed Nigeria Women’s Football League champions Edo Queens in a relatively tough group, alongside South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Edo-based team qualified for the prestigious CAF Women's Champions League thanks to their position as champions of the WAFU B regional competition.
According to Friday's draw, Edo Queens were placed in Group B alongside defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBC FC (Ethiopia).
Group A consists of hosts ASFAR of Morocco, Aigles De La Médina (Senegal), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), and the University of Western Cape (South Africa).
The competition is scheduled to take place in Morocco from November 9 to 23, 2024.
