2023/2024 Pre-Season match: Heartland Queens FC wallops Solo Wonders babes FC 4-0

Heartland Queens football club of Owerri in a pre-season match outclassed Solo Wonders Babes of Aba 4-0 at the Heartland Queens training pitch Ndegwu , Owerri. 

Chinedu Gift slotted home the curtain raiser early in the first half when her powerful shot escaped the magnetic gloves of the visitors goalie. 

Chinedu Gift again in the 30th minutes made it a brace when her powerful drive grazed the woodwork to slide into the net to make it 2-0.

In the final minutes of the first half Chimebere Opara (Obere) slotted home a brilliant volley to increase the tally and end the first half at 3-0. 

The second half began with the Owerri Landladies asking all the questions after the introduction of fresh legs. Super Sub Blessing Okon came through with the last goal of the day mid second half when she finished off the assist from Chinedu to put the home girls out of reach of the Aba side. 

With the 4-0 win Heartland Queens will now look to intensify training ahead of more friendlies with other premiership side as the team is set to round off screening in anticipation of the new season.
