2023 Flying Eagles invitee may play Arsenal U21s vs. West Ham

Having been extended an invitation to join the 2023 Flying Eagles, Ovie Ejeheri finds himself on the cusp of an exciting opportunity as he stands in contention to take the field for Arsenal U21s in their upcoming Premier League 2 season opener against West Ham United. 

The prospective inclusion of Ejeheri was unveiled through insights shared by Jeorge Bird, shedding light on the possibility of the young goalkeeper's involvement in the much-anticipated clash against their West Ham counterparts on the imminent Saturday fixture.

The path leading to this juncture for Ejeheri was underscored by his temporary absence during the team's pre-season engagements, attributed to the well-deserved respite following his stint with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho in Finland. 

During this phase of his career, Ejeheri demonstrated his capabilities and potential, carving out a commendable record as the primary goalkeeper for the Finnish side. 

Over the course of 18 matches spanning various competitions, Ejeheri impressively secured 9 clean sheets and conceded 15 goals, effectively solidifying his reputation as a reliable presence between the posts.

This accomplishment comes in the wake of a prior loan venture, where Ejeheri's talents were showcased at Chelmsford City FC in the National League South division. 

Here, he recorded an impressive tally of twelve clean sheets while conceding just 11 goals, highlighting his consistency and skill set in a different competitive context.

As Ejeheri navigates his career trajectory, his next steps remain somewhat uncertain, potentially prompting his return to the Arsenal U21s fold.
