Nasarawa Amazons Football Club of Lafia, who are second in Group A, are battle-ready to crush Dannaz Ladies of Lagos in the Nigeria Women Football League match on Wednesday, March 27th, at the Lafia City Stadium.
Coach Christopher Danjuma's side may parade some of their first-team players who were on international duty for Nigeria at the just-concluded 13th African Games against the Lagos-based ladies.
For Dannaz FC, this is their first outing in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, since joining the league, and playing against an experienced NWFL Premiership side like Nasarawa Amazons. The first leg in Lagos ended in a goalless draw.
Dannaz Ladies will be hoping to prove a point by securing a win or draw at the end of the encounter.
The Amazons are always ready to put up a good fight to win without stress and also offer their opponents a good opportunity to learn from their superiors.
So, it is the desire of the newcomers to showcase their skills and prove to Nasarawa Amazons that they have what it takes to challenge them.
Nasarawa Amazons, with players who have excelled in competitive club assignments, will use this opportunity to integrate them into the main team and prove their critics wrong.
The one-time champions have also vowed to reach the Super Six with a clean sweep of their visitors and clinch the cup.
