The Continental football-chasing Doma United FC on Monday announced the acquisition of new players ahead of the quest for the continuation of a good run of form after the first stanza of the 2023–2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The Savannah Tigers officially unveiled their new signings ahead of the second stanza of the 2023–2024 NPFL, with four new players added to the squad.
The newly unveiled players are Bilal Yukubu, Tijjani Kabiru Abba, Meite Sambore, and Okoro Okechukwu, while the club said that the four players have successfully signed new deals with Doma United of Gombe. The club noted that all necessary paperwork and medical routine checks have been confirmed for these signings.
The Savannah Tigers currently hold the 3rd position in the table with 32 points in the NPFL 23-24 after the conclusion of the first stanza. These new signings are expected to bolster the team's performance and contribute to their success in the second half of the season. The transfer of these players demonstrates the club's commitment to strengthening its squad and improving its competitive position in the league.
