2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 8: Rangers Int'l FC targets Sunshine Stars' scraps

Although Sunshine Stars produced a magnificent performance on Match Day 7 with an away draw against Rivers United, the team will have to work harder to bring down Rangers International, who have also been decent this season.

One fact is that Sunshine Stars have not been invincible on the home front, having drawn some of the matches, especially against weaker teams.

The Akure Gunners almost secured a surprise away win but surrendered their lead in the final minute of the game in Port Harcourt.

They are, however, faced with the herculean task of curtailing the free-scoring Flying Antelopes side.

Rangers International FC's Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, must also be on top of his game if he wants to avoid defeat at the Akure Township stadium.

With a win, Rangers will consolidate their firm grip on the top position, while the status may not change for Sunshine Stars FC as they are languishing at the lower part of the NPFL table.
