2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 6: Heartland FC fails to get a win inspite ultimatum

Heartland FC, a returning team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), remained anchored at the bottom of the 2023/2024 league table as they played to a 1-1 draw against visiting Rivers United FC.

Like other teams, the technical staff of the Naze Millionaires also faced the same match ultimatum but once again failed to leverage their home advantage, settling for a 1-1 draw against visiting Pride of Rivers.

Rivers United's Ghanaian midfielder import, Farouk Muhammed, scored in the 37th minute, canceling out Onyekachi Okafor's 18th-minute goal, securing a point for the Pride of Rivers away from home and pushing Naze Millionaires to the bottom of the NPFL.

The Naze Millionaires have yet to secure a single win in six attempts in the ongoing 2023/2024 NPFL, with two losses and four draws. Meanwhile, Rivers United is now in the 10th position on the league table.
