The organisers of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) board have rescheduled five matches due to logistical reasons.
This latest development was confirmed by the Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Davidson Owumi, who stated that the affected teams are Rivers United, Lobi Stars, Doma United, Bendel Insurance, Rangers Int'l, Remo Stars, Gombe United, and Bayelsa United. Matchday 6 and 7 fixtures have been rescheduled for logistical reasons.
The rearrangement of Matchday 6 & 7 fixtures is as follows:
Matchday 5 fixture for Saturday has been shifted from Saturday to Sunday, October 29. The match is between Rivers United FC and Lobi Stars FC.
Matchday 6 fixtures:
The Doma United Vs. Bendel Insurance encounter has also been moved from Wednesday, November 1st, to Thursday, Nov. 2. Additionally, the game between Lobi Stars and Rangers International.
Matchday 7 fixtures:
The Bendel Insurance Vs. Remo Stars clash, which was originally slated for Saturday, Nov. 4, has also been moved to Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023.
The game involving Bayelsa United Vs. Lobi Stars was moved from Sunday, Nov. 5, to Monday, Nov. 6.
