The Chairman of the Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Honorable Babatunde Olaniyan, has expressed his gratitude to the fans and supporters of the Oluyole Warriors after the team’s 2-0 derby win over visiting Remo Stars at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex.
The club chairman said the supporters who trooped out for the late kick-off noted how they conducted themselves in an orderly manner before, during, and after the game. Akoro, as the former parliamentarian is fondly called, said their voices made them the 12th man on the pitch.
Honorable Babatunde Olaniyan further solicited the unwavering support of the fans of 3SC for the remainder of games left in the season, saying their target for picking one of the continental tickets is still on track.
Recall that Christian Pyagbara's double ensured that Shooting Stars SC of Ibadan defeated Remo Stars for the first time ever in 8 matches.
