Eze Ekwutoziam, the emerging star of Enyimba’s attacking set-up, has revealed that the team is on a revenge mission to secure maximum points against Remo Stars in Ikenne.
Both heavyweights will clash on Wednesday in a Match Day 25 NPFL encounter at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
Recalling that the defending champions fell to a 1-0 defeat at home against Remo Stars in the reverse fixture in Aba.
Reflecting on the painful loss in the reverse fixture, Ekwutoziam pledged to beat the Sky Blue Stars by putting smiles on the faces of the Aba faithful.
"The trip to Ikenne is a game we want to win, if not for ourselves, but for the fans that felt disappointed during the first leg, likewise we the players, and this is a huge opportunity for us to overturn things and put smiles on the faces of our fans.
"We are coming all out for them. It's a game we have prepared so well for, and we believe we can do it. If they can come to Aba to get all three points, eventually we are going to Ikenne to get all three points."
