2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 23: Oluyole Warriors extend unbeaten run to three games against Gombe United

Shooting Stars SC of Ibadan have extended their unbeaten streak to three games, securing a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Gombe United at the Pantami Township Stadium.


The hosts took the lead through Taiye Yusuf in the 28th minute.


Gombe United held onto the lead for the remainder of the first half.


Hadi Mohammed equalized for Shooting Stars 14 minutes from time.


Efforts by both sides to find the winner proved abortive until the center referee, Igwe Chilaka Ben from Rivers State, brought proceedings to an end.


Shooting Stars increased their point haul to 31 following the stalemate.


Gbenga Ogunbote’s side will host Akwa United at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, in a Match Day 24 fixture on Sunday.
