Following the disappointing defeat on Match Day 15 of the 2023/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in Ilorin, Plateau United FC players regrouped at camp ahead of their Match Day 16 clash against Sporting Lagos in Jos on Thursday.
Currently at the Yelwa Club, the management convened the 2023 Plateau United FC Christmas Parley to strengthen bonding, team spirit, and reflect on the concerning security situation in Bokkos LGA, where several people have been killed in violent attacks.
Plateau United FC General Manager, Habila Mutla, and Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, condemned the recent killings in Bokkos LGA, emphasizing the need to enhance unity and peaceful coexistence.
Goodwill messages were conveyed by key club stakeholders, including the current AGM Danjuma Isandu, the First Assistant Coach Sani Adamu, Secretary of the Club Albert Belfuan, and the Club Captain, with Benjamin Turba representing Golbe Elisha, among other key contributors.
The Peace Boys will face Sporting Lagos on Thursday at the New Zaria Road Stadium in an NPFL Match Day 16 encounter.
It is the first meeting of the two clubs in the league as Sporting Lagos FC is a debutant.
