Following Kwara United’s not-too-impressive run of form, the team's goalkeeper, Adewale Adeyinka, has assured the fans they will bounce back stronger.
Kwara United remain winless in their last four games and were held to a second consecutive home draw after their goalless match with Niger Tornadoes in their Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 14 clash on Sunday.
The Harmony Boys have won just three of their seven home games this season, with four ending in a draw.
The team's goalkeeper, who was a former Gombe United and Akwa United goalkeeper, urged the fans to be patient with them, adding that they will strategize and come back stronger.
“Actually, I can say we tried our best, but our best wasn’t enough. We will talk to ourselves and ensure that we get it right next time,” he said.
“We know the team we are playing next. I believe in our next training session we will psyche ourselves up and see how we can help ourselves and as well help the team. I believe that with some tactical changes, we will get it right against Plateau United and make the fans happy.
“I am confident that we will bounce back stronger,” he concluded.
Kwara United will take on Plateau United in their Match Day 15 encounter at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin, on Thursday.
