As Mighty Jets FC continues to enhance its performances on and off the pitch, Mbum Ferdinand, the General Manager of Mighty Jets International FC, has stated that the club's objective is to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
With the Nigeria National League (NNL) yet to resume, Mighty Jets INT'L FC is putting all the necessary measures in place to ensure a determined approach to the second stanza of the 2023/2024 season.
Mr. Mbum Ferdinand mentioned that, with the support of the Plateau State Government led by Executive Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, both the male and female teams are in good shape to deliver adequately.
He emphasized, "We aim to secure maximum points in the second part of the season despite the challenges. If you want to play in the NPFL, you must win matches."
Addressing the welfare of staff and players, the top club administrator stated, "We are also working to enhance the welfare of our staff, considering the current state of the economy.
"It is crucial that they are treated well so that they can feel like the professionals they are and perform their duties. Some of them have dependents to care for, while others are married with children, so that is very important to us."
So far, the club has only suffered one defeat and currently holds the fourth position ahead of the resumption of the league's second stanza.
Mighty Jets were scheduled to face Elkanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri this weekend before the game was postponed.
No reason has been communicated to the club regarding the postponement.
