Sunshine Stars head coach, Edith Agoye on Wednesday gave a fair mark on his team's performance at the just concluded 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 6, saying that the team had not performed poorly.
Agoye also assured that his team would build on the experience gained at the NPFL Super 6 playoffs.
The Owena Boys defeated Lobi Stars 3-1 in their final game of the competition at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos at the last match of the Super 6 playoffs.
Agoye expressed optimism that his youthful side will perform better next season.
"The experience gained here in the NPFL Super 6 playoff is a good one going forward for my players," he said.
"We will no doubt build on this, and everyone will see an improved Sunshine Stars next season. We are proud of our achievements this season."
Sunshine Stars finished the NPFL Super 6 playoff with five points from one win, two draws, and two defeats.
