1st Kano Inter Community Peace Cup: Kwara Harmony FC are the new Kings of Peace

Kwara Harmony Football Club have emerged champions of the maiden edition of the Kano Inter Community Peace Cup after a penalty win over Wudil United FC at the Sani Abacha stadium.
The highly thrilling encounter had ended 2-2 at regulation time to take the game straight to penalty shootout to decide the champions.
Harmony FC sensation, Shamsudeen Rabiu put his side ahead in the 5th minute of play.
Wudil United' s wonder boy Abdulmalik Kamalu secured the equalizer in the 59th minute.
Kamalu threw the stands into a frenzy with a superb finish to put his side into a 2-1 lead that lasted till added time, despite been one man down.
Shamsudeen stopped the 10 man Wudil United from making home with the show courtesy of his nick of time strike to bring the game to a 2-2 deadlock .
Kwara Harmony FC showcase a superb penality finishing skills converting all their five spot kicks, the lads from Wudil FC in Kano south senatorial district converted three from their spot kicks to hand glory to their opponents.
The finals attracted dignitaries that witnessed the epic final which included, Oba Yoruba Kano, Eng, (Dr) Muritala Alimi Otisese, Executive member, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, (Dr) Rabiu Sheriff Inuwa, former chairman, Kano Pillars fc, Tukur Babangida, CEO Nationwide League, Hassan Garo, former director of sports Kano state Sports Council, Ibrahim Abba,,.former chairman, Kano Pillars fc fans club, Bashir Muazu.
Other diginatries are , former VP SWAN north west, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa, branch manager BET WGB, Mr Felix, football technocrat , Abba Abu Huraira, sponsor, Galadima Cup, Eng Suleiman Musa, Mallam NLO juggernaut , Aliyu Kassim , chairman Kano Ex- Footballers and former captain of the now defunct Raccah Rovers fc of Kano, , Husaini Alabi, among others.
Tukur Babangida took the kick off on behalf of the former chairman, Nigeria Football Association. NFA , (Dr) Ibrahim Galadima.
The trophy presentation was superintended by Oba Yoruba Kano, Muritala Alimi Otisese supported by NFF executive member, Rabiu Inuwa.
