Esports and iGaming entrepreneur Tom Lemke has introduced his latest venture, SavageTech, a new solution designed to enhance the online gambling experience through gamification. SavageTech aims to increase customer loyalty and revenue for betting operators by providing a plug-and-play system that integrates gamified elements into existing platforms. This solution includes features such as bonus rewards, quests, and social leaderboards, allowing users to create avatars, compete for loot, and advance through the game by placing bets.
The core concept behind SavageTech is to transform traditional gambling into a multiplayer experience where users can engage and compete with each other. By adding these interactive elements, Lemke hopes to make the gambling process more engaging and entertaining, thus appealing to a broader audience and improving user retention.
Tom Lemke brings extensive experience to this project from his background in the gaming and esports industries. He co-founded prominent German esports organizations Mousesports (MOUZ) and Berlin International Gaming (BIG). Before Unikrn was acquired by Entain in 2021, Lemke served as the General Manager of Business Development and Partnerships. He also co-founded Skillshot, a consulting firm specializing in esports.
The impact of betting on esports is significant, with various data providers and bookmakers deeply involved in the industry. Recently, odds provider Abios extended its partnership with Bayes Esports to enhance its odds feed accuracy.
Additionally, Bayes Esports has collaborated with fantasy sports provider PrizePicks and is now the data supplier for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lemke highlighted the challenge of engaging younger demographics, noting that traditional sportsbooks often fail to capture their interest, as many of these users prefer interactive gaming experiences.
