Team LDLC, a French esports organization, will discontinue operations in July

The French electronics shop LDLC has stated that LDLC OL (Team LDLC), their esports division, would shut down at the end of July 2023.
 
In the end, Groupe LDLC and Olympique Lyonnais, the owners of LDLC OL, chose to dissolve their joint venture. After more than ten years in the industry, the organization is quitting esports.
 
A well-known French organization called Team LDLC is most recognized for their Counter-Strike lineups.
 
The LDLC Group announced its dissolution, but did not provide any details beyond the statement that “the teams did not manage to carve out a sufficient positioning among the general public, despite their best efforts.”
 
The organization partnered with the Lyon-based football team Olympique Lyonnais in 2020, and as a result, it relocated its headquarters to the city. Additionally, the organization's name was changed to LDLC OL.
