Swedish table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner has revealed that the Waldner Cup, a renowned table tennis event, will feature an exciting addition this year – the Legends Cup. This esports tournament will run alongside the main table tennis event and boasts an impressive $100,000 prize pool.
Some of the biggest names in Dota 2, including The International champions Alliance and well-known Asian team LGD Gaming, are set to compete in this event, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. The Legends Cup is supported by esports data company GRID and production company Black Molly Entertainment.
Jan-Ove Waldner, celebrated for his exceptional career in table tennis, is the driving force behind the Waldner Cup, an annual competition that pits the best European players against their Asian counterparts.
