Riot Games, the game publisher, has revealed Soul Fighter: Fight Night, a creator competition as part of its Runeterra titles' latest activation. The event will be held in Los Angeles, California, and will be live-streamed on Twitch on July 17th.
Soul Fighter: Fight Night is described as a broadcast experience that will feature 16 content creators competing in various in-game and real-life challenges to claim the title of Fight Night Champion. The names of the participating creators have not yet been disclosed.
This creator competition and broadcast are essential components of Riot Games' larger event, Soul Fighter, which celebrates the fighting game genre.
Over the course of six weeks, from July 20th to August 28th, the event will introduce new content across League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra.
Players can expect the addition of new game modes, skins, gameplay features, and more across all four Runeterra titles developed by Riot Games.
Andrei van Roon, Head of League Studio at Riot Games, expressed his excitement for the range of experiences offered by the Soul Fighter event.
He mentioned that Arena, Soul Brawl, and Tag Duel will provide fresh ways for players to engage with League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift, respectively.
The Riot Games team is eagerly anticipating player feedback once they have the opportunity to try out these new experiences.
