Riot Games, the game developer, has revealed a new partnership with the streetwear brand No Future Brand, with a focus on Brazilian esports fans of VALORANT.
This collaboration has resulted in the launch of an exclusive t-shirt that is available only for purchase within Brazil. The t-shirt has been meticulously crafted to honor both the Brazilian VALORANT community and the VALORANT Champions 2023 event, which stands as the pinnacle tournament of the year.
According to a translated announcement, this initiative is part of Riot Games' global endeavor to create personalized VALORANT collections tailored to different regions and countries.
The apparel from No Future Brand showcases artwork inspired by Raze, a prominent in-game agent from VALORANT, depicted with a spray paint can. On the back of the shirt, the promotional emphasis is placed on VALORANT Champions 2023, conveyed through the impactful slogan 'One More.'
In celebration of this collaboration, Riot Games has launched a promotional video on the VALORANT Brazil YouTube channel, featuring notable streamers Paula Nobre and TCK.
No Future Brand, a Brazilian streetwear entity, has a track record of collaborating with diverse brands to create appealing apparel collections. Notable examples include partnerships with spray paint brand Nou Colors and fashion brand FAUVE.
This trend of collaborating on apparel, particularly within the streetwear realm, is gaining traction in esports due to the perceived alignment of audience interests between the two realms. Other instances of streetwear collaborations include Team BDS and Champion, XSET and mastermind JAPAN, and Furia's partnership with artist Guilherme Lemes.
