Riot Games and Mastercard expand esports partnership to VALORANT Champions Tour

Riot Games and Mastercard, the financial company, have expanded their global esports partnership to include the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) in addition to League of Legends esports.
Mastercard's logo has already been featured in the ongoing VCT Masters broadcasts in Tokyo, with more activations planned for the VCT Champions event in Los Angeles later this summer.
As part of the collaboration, Mastercard cardholders will gain access to exclusive VALORANT-related experiences through the company's 'Priceless Experience' offering.
While the specific details of Mastercard's involvement in the VCT have not been disclosed, fans can expect similar activations and benefits as seen in League of Legends esports. This could include promotional activities, logo placements, and potential merchandise collaborations with Riot Games.
Mastercard has been actively supporting the competitive scene of League of Legends since 2018, sponsoring major regional leagues such as the LCS, as well as leagues in Brazil, Europe, and the Nordic countries.
In addition to league sponsorships, Mastercard has partnered with various esports organizations for League of Legends-focused initiatives, including FlyQuest and G2 Esports, among others.
This expansion of the partnership demonstrates Mastercard's continued commitment to integrating esports, particularly the popular titles of Riot Games, into its marketing strategy.
