Razer and AD Gaming collaborate to create gaming zone

Razer, a prominent global gaming peripherals brand, has unveiled a strategic partnership with AD Gaming, an initiative based in Abu Dhabi aimed at fostering the growth of the nation's game development sector.

Under this collaboration, Razer will establish a dedicated gaming facility known as the "Gaming Zone" within AD Gaming's premises. The space will be outfitted with an assortment of Razer peripherals, hardware, and related equipment. Additionally, Razer will extend special discounts to game development firms affiliated with the AD Gaming initiative.

AD Gaming, an abbreviation for Abu Dhabi Gaming, is a novel venture formed through a collaborative effort between the government of the United Arab Emirates and various governmental and commercial entities. The primary objective of AD Gaming is to position Abu Dhabi as the premier destination for all types of gaming industry enterprises. The initiative seeks to provide comprehensive support and assistance to local talent while cultivating an environment conducive to gaming-related endeavors.

Furthermore, AD Gaming is actively engaged in orchestrating esports events within the city of Abu Dhabi. The initiative offers physical spaces for game development companies to establish offices and provides opportunities for international corporations to establish a presence within the country. In the past, AD Gaming has partnered with major entities such as Unity, Nvidia, and game publishing firm SAWA Group.

This partnership between Razer and AD Gaming encompasses two distinct aspects. Firstly, Razer will inaugurate the Gaming Zone, a cutting-edge space designated for testing, events, and simulations. Outfitted entirely by Razer, this space will include specialized chairs, computer components, and peripherals. Game development companies will have the opportunity to leverage this facility for testing game builds, conducting simulations, and hosting various events, as outlined by AD Gaming.

The second facet of the partnership is centered around aiding game development enterprises. Razer will extend preferential rates for hardware and peripherals to startups and businesses, with discounts ranging from 10 to 30 percent.

These products will be made available to all interested companies, contributing to their scalability and growth. Simultaneously, this collaboration also facilitates product sales for Razer. The company has specified that the selection of available products will be periodically updated to include their latest offerings.
